iPath - making IP telephony simple

softphoneIn an IT centric world, we are increasingly used to controlling our work activities via a computer screen. The introduction of the iPath softphone from 8el takes it that one stage further.

The iPath softphone enables users to access a whole host of phone services via an easy-to-use ‘pop up’ user interface. In essence, the user can control a traditional looking, physical IP handset by ‘pairing’ with the iPath. Once ‘paired’ with an IP phone handset via a simple user login, the user friendly iPath software allows users to control their handset to dial, activate call features and answer calls.

The benefits of iPath softphone include:

Easy to use – the small interface is highly intuitive and requires minimal training. Logging in and using the softphone is simple.

Click to dial - By integrating with Outlook and selected CRM applications, users can simply ‘click to dial’ from a contact list.

Mobility - the iPath. All a user needs is an Internet or broadband connection to provide the user with the PBX functionality and the user's office CLI presentation wherever the user is located
