AppFlow
AppFlow is a NetFlow and sFlow analysis tool that taps into functionality available through 8el. AppFlow collects data stream records of IP addresses and application protocols, creating invaluable graphing of top talkers and trends, accessible online and in near real time.
Once set up, it is available from any web browser and administrators can gain tremendous insight into traffic patterns on their network.
AppFlow has a range of features including:
- View data by source or destination
- Display average or maximum protocol usage within period
- View as bits, bytes or packets
- View total transfers by protocol
- Dynamic zoom feature to drill further into graphs
- Time and date range filters
- Ability to filter top 10 through to top 1,000 talkers
- Export to CSV for graphs and to enable pivoting of IP addresses against domain names
- Graphing options including pie charts, bar, block and radar graphs
