VoIP a good long term money saver
IT experts have recommended that businesses look to Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology to help reduce outgoings long term.
The managing director of internet solutions specialist Gradwell's has said that the scalability of VoIP also makes it a smart move, with upgrades being available even after installation.
These upgrades should ensure that quality, reliability and speed are maintained as the business grows.
Gradwell's founder and managing director Peter Gradwell explained that VoIP could be the answer for businesses looking to cut costs.
"People are trying to save money at the moment and VoIP is one of the things that will help them in the long run," he said.
He also pointed out that the level of interest in technology has not waned, despite the current financial difficulties affecting many of the world's major markets.
Research published by silicon.com in December 2006 revealed 60 per cent of companies planned in investing in VoIP systems during 2007.
