US VoIP phones expand compatibility
Companies will soon be able to choose from a wider selection of VoIP providers, it has been revealed.
US VoIP phone developer snom has announced that three of its handsets are now compatible with two of Zulty's private branch exchange platforms.
The expanded service will allow snom customers to select any hosted VoIP provider which operates on Zulty's MX250 and MX30 platforms.
Michael Knieling, executive vice president of marketing and sales for snom technology, expressed his belief that consumers will benefit from the move.
He said. "This premise has seen the company gain a strong following on an international level, particularly in North America and Europe.
"We think Zultys provides our customers and resellers a great IP-PBX option."
The snom 3xx and snom 8xx desktop phones, as well as the snom m3 wireless DECT model, can now be used on both of Zulty's platforms.
