Florist 'saves money' with VoIP
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) has proven that it can save companies money after one florist noticed an 80 per cent reduction in its bills.
Flower Patch adopted a VoIP business solution seven months ago and since then has enjoyed lower outgoings.
Parrish Gordon, sales manager at the florist, said they had gained "phenomenal" efficiency by using the business internet service.
"We've been reaping the rewards ever since," he added.
In addition to cost savings, the company had also improved their interaction with customers both online and on the phone.
Their VoIP system was installed using the company's existing broadband connection and it means that the company can easily connect with bases in different locations.
Flower Patch is not the only florist to save money by using a VoIP system, 1-800-Flowers has also enjoyed cost-saving benefits.
The world's largest florist and gift shop's spokesperson, Steve Bozzo, remarked that they now had on-demand flexibility to cope with seasonal needs.
