8el launches powerful 'NGN ready' call analysis tool for network users

8el partners with ProClarity Analytics Platform to develop its new CallWatch Interactive service

Reading, UK, January 16, 2006 --- Networking specialist 8el has launched CallWatch Interactive, an advanced online call analysis tool that empowers comms managers to make faster, better informed decisions regarding their voice networks. Available from today as part of 8el's advanced voice solution, businesses can more easily identify potential cost savings and efficiencies across multiple sites.

8el's decision to launch the new service supports its Next Generation Network strategy, part of which includes the ability to deploy real-time monitoring tools that give complete visibility and control of customers? networks.

Available on-line 24/7, CallWatch Interactive enables users to access a range of predetermined reports or create bespoke reports (using CallWatch Interactive 'Professional service'), to get the information they require without having to sift through huge quantities of data. For a modest monthly fee, customers log onto CallWatch Interactive via an intuitive, user friendly front end, accessed through a secure web page at www.8el.com. Using the ProClarity powered front end, customers are able to extract detailed data on their voice activity from 8el's multi-dimensional SQL billing database.

The CallWatch Interactive software delivers a depth of information previously unavailable, enabling users to 'drilldown' into details such as individual extensions and numbers dialled. The platform is easy to use and can interrogate the data in numerous ways, showing a general overview, trend summaries, or the details of individual calls. The reports can then be exported, sorted, filtered or printed as required.

Uses include the ability to identify lines that are under/over-utilised, identify call trends, judge the success of promotional campaigns or identify areas that require more detailed investigation. Customers can view detailed call analysis of telephone lines, call to mobiles or costly private and out-of-hours calls with graphical representations of key call trends.

8el is already finalising its first sales of CallWatch Interactive with existing customers and expects demand to be high moving forward.
