The success of VoIP for Business 07 proves UK VoIP market is ready to take off

VoIP for Business the UK’s leading business communications event, was held on 21-22 March at the National Hall venue at London’s Olympia. 8el’s exhibition at VoIP for Business proved highly successful, providing an excellent opportunity to interact with end users and demonstrate the latest technology.

8el’s stand was themed around the evolution of telecoms, from PABX to IP and the benefits of their next generation services. 8el were inundated with visitors keen to learn more and see the live demo of their C@llPort IP telephony service in action.

The 2007 event was attended by approximately 3,000 visitors consisting of IT decision makers and key channel figures. This was a significant increase from the 2005 event which delivered 1,108 and 2006 event delivered 2,285 visitors. The attendance and interest level at 'VoIP for Business 07' demonstrates that 2007 will be the year that VoIP really takes off.
