Regus introduces flexible working option
Regus has given its workforce the opportunity to work flexibly on Valentine's Day 2012.
Flexible working sees many employees use technology such as VoIP to conduct their everyday tasks, and this latest initiative by Regus will give workers free taster sessions to operate from their nearest centre.
Celia Donne, regional director at Regus, said: "Simple measures like giving staff control over their working hours, shortening commute times or allowing employees to work from other locations can significantly improve workforce morale."
Ms Donne emphasised that the employment market has altered rapidly in recent years, with many staff members now wanting to work at any time from any location.
News of Regus' new project comes after a representative from Tomorrowtoday.uk.com stated that remote working will be driven equally by older and younger generations.
Dr Graeme Codrington claimed that the two categories of people will want to adopt the technology for different reasons, with many older individuals anticipated to look at flexible working after opting out of retirement.
