Flexible working is a 'top perk'
Flexible working is a top perk for many graduates, a recent study has revealed.
This may mean that more people will look for VoIP services to work from remote locations, with 40 per cent of people preferring electronic communication to verbal, according to research from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
Also, 19 per cent of respondents cited flexible working as a top perk for a job.
Jon Andrews, partner at PwC said: "Employers need to work harder to understand this generation and appeal to their needs to make sure they keep them when market conditions improve."
Mr Andrews added that workers must adapt to ensure that they remain attractive to graduates.
VoIP is one technology that many of these new workers will look to use, and Dave Dadds from the Federation of Communication Services (FCS) stated that the VoIP industry is in a state of evolution.
Mr Dadds explained that the systems are established and will become a significant part of the market.
