IT budgets 'always under review'
The majority of company budgets are under review, meaning that businesses may have less to spend on the security of their wide area networking systems.
On top of this, the number of compliance requirements is increasing, according to Tufin Technologies. This can cause firms to spend more than they expect on computer security, so it is advisable to plan budgets thoroughly.
Michael Hamelin, chief security architect with Tufin Technologies, said: "One unfortunate fact of life is that meeting the needs of a rising tide of security compliance needs can prove to be an expensive option."
Mr Hamelin commented that the aforementioned factors can make the task of an IT security admin difficult.
The Centre for Cyber Security has advised that firms should place more emphasis on data security in order to tackle the threats of cyber crime, especially considering technological developments in the market.
