Voicemail
The CallPort Voicemail feature delivers increased flexibility of Voicemail handling and provides full mailbox control to the user.
The Voicemail functionality has been added to provide flexibility to both office based and remote workers.
This, alongside the Unified Messaging capabilities already in place on the platform, makes the CallPort Voicemail functionality a competitive and user friendly solution.

- Remote access to Voicemail via a central number – Users can gain access to Voicemail remotely using a centralised number and PIN based security. Perfect for users on the road or regularly out of the office.
- Copying and forwarding of Voicemail between mailboxes - This feature enables users to copy a Voicemail directly to another user's mailbox by simply keying '#' before the extension number. This is particularly useful for when group mailboxes are used.
- Personalised message via a temporary message option - This function allows users to record a temporary message that lasts for a configurable number of hours. The user can enter the number of hours the message is to last, prior to reverting to the original greeting.
- Voicemail breakout - The CallPort Voicemail breakout feature has been configured as part of the Voicemail message. Simply by pressing '0', your call can be directed to a call group, user or even an external, pre-configured telephone number.
- Mailbox groups – Mailboxes can be set up at a user, call group or organisational level.
- Secure –Users are required to enter a PIN number before retrieving voicemail.
- Voicemail notification – Notification can be provided via the iPath softphone, by the message lamp indicator on the handset or via an email. The email notification can link directly to the media centre, or as an attachment to the email, which will allow the message to be played directly via the PC.
