Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)

8el provide CPE for both Wide Area and Local Area Networks. Through tailored design, 8el are able to specify the right CPE based on requirements. Circuit termination, port density, technology and protocol support, processing, packet switching and forwarding rates are all technical considerations that are taken into account when selecting the right CPE to perform a particular function or group of functions. Growth and reliability are also key factors to choosing the right CPE.

The in-house technical expertise at 8el ensures an impartial network design can be achieved using the strongest points across a multitude of vendors. On going support and maintenance is provided through qualified and experienced 1st, 2nd and 3rd line engineers.

The service is scalable from 5 through to 3500 users per organisation, helping customers achieve flexibility without any compromise on call quality or reliability and with a clear path to return on investment.

  • Monitoring and support - All CPE is pro-actively monitored and supported by the 8el Network Operations Centre. Along with standard warranties there are options for advanced levels of hardware maintenance that can be tailored to fit on a piece by piece basis.
  • Vendor agnostic - A full range of technologies and protocols are at the disposal of 8el. Unbound by one or two vendors, the CPE choice is based on solution and business drivers and design is not driven by the capabilities of the CPE.
